Share files without giving up control.
Every file is encrypted before it touches disk. Every link expires. Every access is logged. Nothing about that is optional.
Three steps. No plugins, no client software, no learning curve.
Upload
Drag in a file from your browser. It's encrypted the instant it lands โ before it's written to disk.
Set the terms
Choose how long the link lives, whether it needs a password, and how many times it can be downloaded.
Share the link
Send it however you already communicate โ email, text, Slack. The recipient needs no account to download it.
Why not just email the attachment?
Because email wasn't built to keep a secret. Here's what changes when you use a link instead of an attachment.
| Email attachment | FileRelayPro link | |
|---|---|---|
| Once it's sent, can you revoke access? | No โ it's in their inbox forever, and every server it passed through | Yes โ revoke a link instantly, anytime |
| Does it expire automatically? | No | Yes โ you set the window |
| Encrypted at rest wherever it's stored? | Depends entirely on the mail provider on both ends | Always โ every file, every time |
| Do you know if/when it was opened? | No visibility at all | Every access is logged |
| Forwarded to someone else by mistake? | Nothing stops them | Password-protect or cap downloads to limit the blast radius |
Built for the files you can't afford to send carelessly
Accountants & bookkeepers
Tax documents, financial statements, and client records โ sent with an expiring link instead of sitting in an inbox indefinitely.
Legal & real estate
Contracts, closing documents, and case files that need a clean, logged chain of who accessed what and when.
Healthcare & HR
Records that need to move between people without living forever in a shared drive or a forwarded email thread.
IT & consultants
Credentials, configs, and client deliverables shared with a password and a download cap, then gone.
Why it's actually secure
Most file-sharing tools bolt security on as a checkbox. FileRelayPro is built around it โ here's exactly what protects your files, in plain terms.
Encrypted at rest
Every file is encrypted with AES (via Fernet) the moment it's uploaded, before it's ever written to disk. Without the server's encryption key, the stored file is unreadable โ even to someone with direct disk access.
Encrypted in transit
Every connection to FileRelayPro is TLS-secured, with certificates that renew automatically. Your files and credentials are never sent in the clear.
Links that expire
Every share link has a real expiration โ hours or days, your choice. Add a download limit, an extra password, or revoke a link instantly. Nothing you share stays exposed forever by accident.
No secrets in plaintext
Encryption keys and credentials live in AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store, not in a config file sitting on a server. Even we don't have a plaintext copy lying around.
Full audit trail
Every login, upload, download, and share event is logged. If you ever need to know who accessed what and when, the answer already exists.
Account protection
Passwords are hashed, never stored in reversible form. Accounts lock out automatically after repeated failed logins, and every form is protected against cross-site request forgery.
